Bus
From Bergamo, head to the nearby bus station at 'Piazza Marconi'. Catch the bus to 'Lecco' (Line 5). The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Lecco, transfer to a bus heading to 'Bellagio' or 'Varenna'. You will need to get off at 'Lezzeno'. From the bus stop in Lezzeno, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards the lake, following the signs for 'Monte San Primo'.
Train and Bus
Take the train from 'Bergamo' station to 'Lecco'. Trains run frequently and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lecco, exit the train station and find the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Take the bus towards 'Bellagio' or 'Varenna' and get off at 'Lezzeno'. After exiting the bus, walk towards the lake, following the signs to 'Monte San Primo', which is about a 20-minute walk.
Walking (from Lezzeno)
If you are already in Lezzeno, from the main bus stop, head east toward the lake. Continue walking along the lakeside path until you reach the trailhead for Monte San Primo. The hike will take you approximately 2 hours to reach the summit, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water.
