Getting There

  • Bus

    To reach Naviglio Grande from Bergamo, start by taking the bus from the Bergamo bus station (Autostazione di Bergamo) to Milan. Look for the bus line that goes to 'Milano Centrale'. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, exit the bus terminal and follow the signs to the Metro station. Take the Metro Line 2 (Green Line) towards 'Assago Milanofiori' and get off at the 'Romolo' station. From Romolo, exit the station and head south on Via Romolo towards Via Meda. Turn right onto Via Meda, then continue onto Via G. B. Pirelli, which will lead you directly to Alzaia Naviglio Grande.

    Start your journey at the Bergamo train station. Purchase a ticket for the train to 'Milano Centrale'. The train ride takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro station and take Line 2 (Green Line) towards 'Assago Milanofiori'. Get off at the 'Romolo' station. Exit the station and walk south along Via Romolo towards Via Meda. Turn right onto Via Meda and continue until you reach Alzaia Naviglio Grande.

The walking route to the bus station is about 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point in Bergamo.
