Getting There
Bus
From Bergamo's main train station (Stazione di Bergamo), take bus number 1 towards 'Orio al Serio'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza Marconi' stop. From there, walk to the nearby bus terminal and transfer to bus number 90 or 91 towards 'Milano'. This journey will take about 50 minutes. After arriving at 'Milano', walk towards 'Corso Magenta'. The Palazzo Litta is located at Corso Magenta, 24, just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.
Train
From Bergamo train station, board a train heading to Milano Centrale. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs for the Metro. Take the M2 (Green Line) towards 'Assago Milanofiori Forum' and disembark at 'Lanza' station. From Lanza, exit the station and head south on Via della Moscova, then turn left onto Corso Magenta. Palazzo Litta will be on your right at number 24.
Metro
If you are in central Bergamo, take a local bus or tram to reach the nearest train station. From there, take a train to Milano Centrale. After arriving at Milano Centrale, transfer to the Metro system. Take the M2 line (Green Line) towards 'Assago Milanofiori Forum' and get off at 'Lanza' station. Upon exiting, walk south on Via della Moscova, then turn left onto Corso Magenta. Palazzo Litta is located at Corso Magenta, 24.
Walking
If you are in the historical center of Bergamo, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at Piazza Vecchia and make your way to Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow this road down to the train station, and from there, take either a bus or a train to Milano as described above. This walking route allows you to explore the charming streets of Bergamo before heading to Milan.
