If you're starting from the central area of Bologna, make your way to Piazza Maggiore, the heart of the city. From there, head east on Via Rizzoli until you reach Via Ugo Bassi. Turn left onto Via Ugo Bassi and continue straight until you reach Via Indipendenza. Turn right onto Via Indipendenza, and walk until you reach Via Azzo Gardino. Turn left onto Via Azzo Gardino, and you will find Giardino del Cavaticcio on your right.

If you're near an urban bus stop, take bus number 32 or 33. Board the bus heading towards 'Fiera' and get off at the 'Aldini' stop. From there, walk for about 5 minutes: head south on Via Aldini, then turn left onto Via Azzo Gardino. Giardino del Cavaticcio will be on your right.

Public Transport (Tram)
You can also take the tram if you're near a tram stop. Board the T1 tram heading to 'Lame' and get off at 'Bologna Centrale'. From there, exit the station and walk towards Via Indipendenza. Turn left onto Via Indipendenza and continue straight until you reach Via Azzo Gardino. Turn left, and Giardino del Cavaticcio will be on your right.
