Look for the large open square surrounded by historic buildings.

From Bologna Centrale, you can take bus number 21 or 37. Board the bus at the stop outside the station. After a short ride of about 10 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Rizzoli'. From there, walk towards Via Rizzoli and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Indipendenza. Turn left, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Piazza dell'8 Agosto on your right.
