From the center of Bormio, head northwest on Via Roma toward Via Battaglion Morbegno. Continue straight onto Strada Statale 38 (SS38). Follow SS38 for about 5 km until you reach the sign for 'Pond of Mot.' Turn right onto the road leading to the pond. There is a small parking area near the pond. Note that there may be parking fees depending on the season.

Start at the Bormio bus station (Stazione Autolinee di Bormio). Take the bus that goes towards Sondrio. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for 'Pond of Mot' or the closest stop. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk along the marked trail to reach the pond. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
