Getting there

Walking

From the center of Amalfi (near the Cathedral of Saint Andrew), walk west along the seafront promenade towards Piazza Flavio Gioia and the Amalfi Marina. Continue along the coastline, following signs for Via Mauro Comite. The entrance to the staircase leading down to Il Duoglio Spiaggia is located at number 25 Via Mauro Comite. Be prepared for approximately 400 steps. Note that the climb back up can be strenuous.

Public Transport

From the Amalfi bus station, take the SITA bus towards Salerno. Ask the driver to stop at 'Il Duoglio'. After disembarking, walk back towards Amalfi until you see signs for Il Duoglio Spiaggia. Follow the pathway to reach the staircase leading down to the beach. A single bus fare within the Amalfi Coast area typically costs around €1-3.

Water Taxi/Ferry

From the Amalfi pier, several boat services offer transport to Il Duoglio Spiaggia. These ferries typically depart every 30 minutes during the summer season. A one-way trip to the beach costs approximately €4 per person. The last ferry back to Amalfi usually departs around 5:00 PM , so check the schedule in advance.
