The Breathtaking Pathway Between Capri and Anacapri

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the main square in Capri (Piazzetta), head towards Via Roma. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Via Certosa. Take a left onto Via Certosa and continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Gardens of Augustus. After visiting the gardens, exit and follow the signs towards Via Krupp. You will see a staircase that leads down towards Marina Piccola. As you descend, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Anacapri. Once you reach Marina Piccola, follow the coastal path until you reach the base of the hill leading to Anacapri. There, you will find signs for the Sentiero di valico trail. Follow the trail markers, and you will arrive at Sentiero di valico tra Capri e Anacapri.

• Walking

  From the Capri Marina (Marina Grande), exit the ferry terminal and head up Via Marina Grande towards the center of Capri. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and follow it until you reach the main square (Piazzetta). From there, take Via Certosa as mentioned before. This route will also lead you to the entrance of the Gardens of Augustus and subsequently down towards Marina Piccola. Continue as previously described to get to the Sentiero di valico.

  If you are near the Anacapri area, find your way to Via Giuseppe Orlandi. Follow this road uphill until you reach the intersection with Via Caposcuro. Take a right on Via Caposcuro and continue until you find the entrance to the Sentiero di valico. This route allows you to connect directly from Anacapri, making it a scenic pathway to the trail.
