Walking
From the central Piazzetta in Capri, head down Via Vittorio Emanuele and continue until you reach the Funicular station. Take the Funicular to Marina Grande. Once you arrive at Marina Grande, follow the signs to the ferry terminal and take a ferry to Naples. From there, you can catch a train to Pompei. After arriving at Pompei station, exit the station and head towards the entrance of the archaeological site, which is located on Via dell’Abbondanza.
Bus
From the Piazzetta in Capri, take the local bus to Marina Grande. Once you arrive at Marina Grande, you can find the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Naples. After you arrive in Naples, head to the Central Station (Stazione Centrale) and take a Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri station. From the station, it’s a short walk to Via dell’Abbondanza, which leads you into the archaeological site.
Ferry and Train
Start at the Piazzetta in Capri and walk down to Marina Grande. Board the ferry to Naples. Once you disembark in Naples, follow the signs to the Napoli Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Get off at Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri. From the train station, walk straight out towards the main entrance of the archaeological site, which is directly on Via dell’Abbondanza.
