    Getting There

    Bus

    From the city center of Catania, head to the bus terminal at Piazza Giovanni Verga. Look for the buses heading to Taormina. You can take the Interbus or Etna Trasporti. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Taormina, get off at the main bus stop. Mazzarò is a short 10-minute walk downhill from there. Follow the signs towards the beach, and you will soon reach Mazzarò.

    Train

    Walk to Catania Centrale train station, located in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Taormina-Giardini station. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Taormina-Giardini, exit the station and take the bus (Line 5 or 5A) or a taxi to Mazzarò, which is around 3 kilometers away. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes.

    Taxi

    If you prefer convenience, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Catania to Mazzarò. Simply ask the driver to take you to Mazzarò in Taormina. The journey will take about 1 hour, depending on traffic, and it can be more expensive than public transportation.

    Walking

    If you are already in Taormina, simply head towards the coast. From the main square (Piazza IX Aprile), walk down the main road (Corso Umberto) until you reach Via Luigi Pirandello. Follow this road down to the beach area where Mazzarò is located. It's a scenic walk, but be prepared for some uphill walking on the way back.
