Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central Piazza del Duomo, walk east on Via Etnea for approximately 500 meters. You will pass by various shops and cafes. After you reach the intersection with Via Manzoni, turn right and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Santa Maria di Gesù. Turn left here and walk another 300 meters. Parco Maestranze will be on your right, just before the intersection with Via Salvatore Cappello. Look for the entrance marked with signs.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Piazza del Duomo, you can take the bus number 431 from the nearby bus stop. Board the bus in the direction of 'Catania Centro'. After about 5-10 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Cappuccini'. From there, walk along Via Salvatore Cappello for approximately 200 meters until you reach Parco Maestranze, which will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Catania Central Station, head southeast on Corso Sicilia. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the intersection with Via Etnea, turn left and continue for another 400 meters. At the intersection with Via Manzoni, turn right and then take the first left onto Via Santa Maria di Gesù. Walk straight for about 300 meters, and you will find Parco Maestranze on your right.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find one at designated taxi stands throughout Catania. Simply tell the driver 'Parco Maestranze' and they will take you directly there. The drive should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
