Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Cervinia. Head southeast on Via Roma toward Viale Matterhorn. Continue straight onto Viale de la Salle, which eventually becomes Route 46. After about 2.5 km, you will reach the turn-off for the Fornet Skistation. Follow the signs for Valtournenche, and keep an eye out for 'Fornet Skistation' signs. Parking is available near the skistation, but be aware that there may be a parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Cervinia to Valtournenche. Buses run frequently from the main bus stop in Cervinia. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Valtournenche, you will need to get off at the stop closest to Fornet Skistation. From there, it's a short walk (about 1 km) to the skistation. Look for signs indicating the direction to Fornet Skistation. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times, as services may be limited in the evening.

  Another option is to take a taxi from Cervinia directly to Fornet Skistation. You can find taxis near the main square in Cervinia or book one through your hotel.
