To reach Châtelard Castle from Courmayeur by car, start by heading east on Strada Statale 26 (SS26) from the center of Courmayeur. Continue on SS26 for about 22 km until you reach the junction for Frazione Chateau. Follow the signs for Frazione Chateau and turn left. After about 1.5 km, you will arrive at Châtelard Castle, located at Frazione Chateau, 11015 Chateau AO. Parking is available near the castle, but be sure to check for any parking fees or regulations.

If traveling by public transportation, take the local bus service from Courmayeur to Aosta. Buses are operated by SAVDA and you can catch one from the main bus station. The journey to Aosta takes approximately 40 minutes. Once in Aosta, transfer to a local bus heading to Chateau. The bus ride to Chateau takes around 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. After arriving in Chateau, it’s a short walk to Châtelard Castle, approximately 1 km uphill. Wear comfortable shoes for this walk.
