Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey on the A13 motorway if you are coming from Bologna or Padua. Take the Ferrara exit and follow signs for the city center. As you approach Ferrara, continue onto Via Bologna, which will lead you into the heart of the city. Once you reach the city center, look for parking options, as driving in the historic area can be restricted. A recommended parking area is Parcheggio Piazza del Municipio, which is a short walk from Palazzo Crema. From there, head southwest on Via Cairoli, and you will find Palazzo Crema at Via Cairoli, 13.

• Train

  To reach Palazzo Crema by train, first take a train to Ferrara from major cities like Bologna or Modena. The train journey from Bologna to Ferrara takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ferrara train station, exit the station and catch bus number 1 or 5 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Castello' stop, which is near the Este Castle. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Palazzo Crema. Head southwest on Via Garibaldi, then turn left onto Via Cairoli, where you will find Palazzo Crema at number 13.

• Bus

  If you prefer to use the bus, check for local bus services that connect Ferrara with surrounding towns. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Ferrara, you can either walk to Palazzo Crema or take a local bus to the city center. For a short walk, exit the bus station and head towards Corso Isonzo, then turn left onto Via Cairoli. Palazzo Crema will be located at Via Cairoli, 13.
