Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're near the Bologna Centrale train station, exit the station and head northwest on Viale Pietramellara. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Malpighi, then turn left onto Via Indipendenza. Walk down this street until you reach Piazza Maggiore, the central square of Bologna. From Piazza Maggiore, head northeast toward Via dei Musei, and then turn left onto Via San Vitale. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Zamboni. Turn right onto Via Zamboni, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Corte Isolani. Follow this road to Statua del Savonarola, which will be on your left.

    Start at the Bologna Centrale train station. Take bus line 28 or 30 from the bus stop outside the station. Get off at the stop 'Porta Saragozza'. From there, walk down Via Saragozza until you reach the intersection with Via San Vitale. Turn right onto Via San Vitale, and then take the first left onto Via Zamboni. Continue walking straight, and you will find Statua del Savonarola on your left after a short walk.
