Our first stop was the breathtaking hilltop town of Fiesole. The panoramic views looking down over Florence and the Duomo in the soft morning light were unbeatable—and having our guide share the history and best photo spots made it even better! After Fiesole, we took the scenic backroads to a lovely, independent farm for an olive oil and wine tasting. It felt so authentic, intimate, and far removed from the crowded tourist traps. The fresh extra virgin olive oil was incredible and being surrounded by olive groves was pure bliss. What truly made the experience exceptional was the impeccable timing and pace. We never felt rushed at any point, yet the whole morning flowed effortlessly. Our guide was warm, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident on their Vespas. There is some riding in and out of the city so heed the tour advice of needing a bit of experience. We took the tour today with Rubens, in Florence, and it was wonderful. The tour was very complete. Rubens is very patient, explained everything very well and told a little about the history of Florence. He isn't in a hurry and let us enjoy every place. In Fiesole, we had 40 minutes to see the church and the viewpoint. We also went through Piazzale Michelangelo and visited one of the oldest churches in Italy. I liked it a lot and I recommend it! It was punctual, patient, attentive, and creative. Really, a five-star ride! It was an incredible experience, very well organized and smooth from start to finish.
