Walking
If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze), head south on Via dell'Oriuolo towards Piazza San Lorenzo. Continue straight until you reach Via dei Calzaiuoli. Turn left and walk along Via dei Calzaiuoli until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From here, head towards Ponte Vecchio, cross the Arno River, and continue straight onto Via Guicciardini. Follow this road until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Via dei Bardi, and then turn right onto Via San Niccolò. This road will lead you up to the hill where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Continue down Via San Niccolò until you reach the intersection with Via dei Serragli, then turn right. Follow Via dei Serragli until you reach Piazza della Sala in Pistoia, which is approximately 40 minutes from the Duomo.

Public Transport
From the central train station, Santa Maria Novella, board a regional train towards Pistoia. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pistoia train station, exit the station and head north on Via dell'Ospizio. After a few minutes, turn right onto Via della Libertà and continue until you reach the main square, Piazza della Sala. The walk from the train station to the square will take approximately 15 minutes.
