From Genoa, head to the Genova Piazza Principe train station. Purchase a ticket to Camogli, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Camogli train station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront.

Walking
After reaching the waterfront in Camogli, continue walking along the promenade. You will see beautiful views of the harbor and the colorful buildings of Camogli. Keep walking until you reach the small beach area. From there, follow the path signs directing you towards 'Castello della Dragonara'. The castle is situated on a hill overlooking the sea, so there will be a steep uphill walk. The path is marked and will take you around 20 minutes to reach the castle.

Alternatively, after arriving at Camogli train station, you can take a local bus. Look for the bus stop right outside the station and take the bus that goes to 'San Rocco'. Get off at the stop 'Dragonara'. From there, it's a short walk uphill to the castle. Follow the signs, and you will reach the Castle della Dragonara in about 10 minutes.
