    If you're starting from the Piazza De Ferrari, head east on Via XX Settembre until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue until you reach the end of the street where it meets Piazza della Vittoria. From there, continue straight onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the Strada Nuova Museums on your left. Continue walking straight, and you will soon arrive at Piazza di San Matteo, where Chiesa e chiostro di San Matteo is located at number 18.

    Public Transport

    From the Genoa Brignole train station, take bus number 35 towards 'Corso Italia'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza De Ferrari'. From there, walk east on Via XX Settembre until you reach Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma, and then follow the previous walking directions from Piazza De Ferrari to reach Chiesa e chiostro di San Matteo.

    If you are near the Porto Antico (Old Port), exit the area and head towards Via San Lorenzo. Walk up Via San Lorenzo until you reach the intersection with Piazza San Lorenzo. Turn left and walk towards the Via Garibaldi. Continue straight to the end of the street where you will find Piazza di San Matteo on your right with Chiesa e chiostro di San Matteo located at number 18.
