If you are in the historic center of Genoa, you can easily walk to Doge's Palace. Start at Piazza de Ferrari, the main square, and head towards the Via XX Settembre. Walk down Via XX Settembre until you reach the traffic lights. Turn right onto Via San Lorenzo, and continue straight. You will see the beautiful Cathedral of San Lorenzo on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. The Doge's Palace will be on your right at number 9.
