Public Transport
Start at the Genoa Brignole train station. Follow the signs to the bus stop located outside the station. Take the bus number 35 towards 'Nervi'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Nervi'. Once you arrive in Nervi, follow the signs towards the coast. You will walk along the promenade, known as the 'Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi', which offers stunning views of the Italian Riviera. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the picturesque beach area.
Walking
If you are near the historic center of Genoa, you can start your journey from Piazza De Ferrari. Head towards Via XX Settembre and walk straight until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the Via Garibaldi towards the sea, and then turn left onto Corso Italia. Continue walking along this road which runs parallel to the coastline. This scenic walk will lead you directly to the beautiful areas of the Italian Riviera. It’s about a 45-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes!
Train
From Genoa's main train station, Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe, take a train towards 'Spezia' or 'La Spezia Centrale'. Make sure to check the train schedule as trains run frequently. Get off at the 'Nervi' station, which is one of the stops along the way. Once you arrive at Nervi, exit the station and head towards the coast; the Italian Riviera is just a short walk away from the station.
