Walking

If you are near the famous Piazza De Ferrari, head towards Via XX Settembre. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Garibaldi and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will see Piazza Banchi on your left.
Public Transport - Metro

From Brignole Station, take the Metro Line D in the direction of De Ferrari. Get off at the De Ferrari station. Once you exit the station, walk towards Via XX Settembre, then follow the directions to Piazza Banchi as mentioned above.
Public Transport - Bus

Catch Bus Line 36 from your location to the Stazione Brignole stop. From there, switch to the Metro Line D towards De Ferrari. After getting off at De Ferrari, follow the walking directions to Piazza Banchi as noted earlier.
Walking from the Port

If you find yourself at the Port of Genoa, head towards the Via della Libertà. Walk straight until you reach Piazza Caricamento and continue onto Via San Luca. After about 1 km, turn left into Via Garibaldi and you will soon reach Piazza Banchi on your right.
