If you are at the Genoa Brignole train station, exit the station and head west towards Via XX Settembre. Turn left onto Via XX Settembre and continue straight until you reach Piazza della Vittoria. From there, take the Via Dante and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Garibaldi and walk towards Palazzo Rosso. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Banchi, which is approximately a 25-minute walk.

From the central area of Genoa, you can take the bus number 35 from the bus stop at Piazza De Ferrari. Board the bus and get off at the stop called 'Piazza Banchi'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you disembark, the square is just a short walk away.

If you are near the Old Port area (Porto Antico), walk towards Via San Lorenzo, passing the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. Continue along Via San Lorenzo until you reach Piazza Banchi. This scenic route will take around 15 minutes and offers views of the historical architecture in the area.
