From Genoa, head to the Genova Brignole train station. Purchase a ticket to Camogli, which is on the line towards La Spezia. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Camogli station, exit the station and follow the signs that lead to the seaside.

Walking
After exiting the Camogli train station, turn left and walk along Via S. Nicolò towards the waterfront. You will reach the beautiful promenade (Lungomare). Continue along the promenade until you see signs for 'Sentiero da San Rocco' which will lead you up into the hills. The trail starts near the Church of San Rocco, which is a short walk from the waterfront.
