Walking
From the Herculaneum archaeological site exit, head south on Via dei Papiri towards Corso Resina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Garibaldi. Turn left onto Corso Garibaldi and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see the train station on your right, which is Pompei Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Napoli. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the Pompei Scavi stop. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the main entrance of the archaeological site. From there, head east on Via Villa dei Misteri, which will lead you directly to Vicolo delle Terme where the Basilica is located.
Public Transport
From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest Circumvesuviana train station, which is approximately 15 minutes away on foot. Take the train towards Napoli and get off at the Pompei Scavi station. Once you exit the train station, turn left and walk straight towards the entrance of the archaeological site. Continue past the entrance, taking Via Villa dei Misteri until you reach Vicolo delle Terme, where the Basilica is located. The total travel time will be about 30 minutes, including waiting time.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you may opt for a taxi. You can find a taxi stand near the Herculaneum archaeological site. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Basilica in Pompei, Vicolo delle Terme, 2'. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and the taxi will drop you off close to the entrance of the Basilica.
