Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head towards the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Once there, take Via delle Mura, which leads to the main road, Corso Resina. Follow Corso Resina towards the northeast until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station, Ercolano Scavi. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Naples. Board the train and enjoy the short ride (about 10-15 minutes). Upon arriving at Napoli Porta Nolana, exit the station and walk to Via Sanità, which will be approximately 15-20 minutes away on foot. You will need to navigate through the streets of Naples, heading towards the northeast until you arrive at Via Sanità, 123, where the Catacombe di San Gaudioso is located.

Public Transport
From Herculaneum, make your way to the Ercolano Scavi train station and purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Naples. After a short ride (about 10-15 minutes), get off at Napoli Porta Nolana. From there, you can take bus line 168 from the nearby bus stop. Get off at the stop closest to Via Sanità. The Catacombe di San Gaudioso is a short walk from the bus stop, just head northeast along Via Sanità until you reach your destination at Via Sanità, 123.
