Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head east on Corso Resina towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale delle Terme. Take a left onto Viale delle Terme and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Archaeological Park on your right. Keep walking until you reach the main train station, Ercolano Scavi. From there, you can catch a Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Once on the train, it's about a 30-minute ride. Get off at Sorrento station.

From Herculaneum, make your way to Ercolano Scavi train station. You can walk there by heading east on Corso Resina, turning left onto Viale delle Terme, and continuing straight until you reach the station. Purchase a ticket for Sorrento and board the Circumvesuviana train. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sorrento, exit the station and walk towards Via Capo, which should take about 10-15 minutes.

From Herculaneum, walk towards the main bus stop located near the Ercolano Scavi train station. Look for buses heading to Sorrento; these are usually marked. Board the bus, and enjoy a scenic ride that should take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Via Capo, then walk to Via Capo 53, which is around a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
