From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards Corso Resina and walk south until you reach the entrance of the Herculaneum archaeological site. After entering the site, follow the signs leading to the main exit. Once you exit, continue straight on Corso Resina until you reach the train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. At the Ercolano Scavi train station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The journey to Sorrento takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sorrento station, exit and follow the signs to Piazza Tasso. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
