Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Herculaneum, head southeast on Corso Resina towards Via Roma. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Turn left onto Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Herculaneum train station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Napoli Porta Nolana station. Once you exit the station, head east on Via P. S. Mantica, then turn left onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue until you reach the waterfront area, where Santa Lucia is located, just near the harbor.

• Public Transport

  Start at the Herculaneum train station. Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Alight at the Napoli Centrale station. From Napoli Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro Line 2 and take the train towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the next stop, which is the Napoli Mergellina station. Upon exiting, head towards the waterfront along Via Caracciolo, and you will arrive at Santa Lucia in approximately 10 minutes.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can easily find a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from anywhere in Herculaneum. Simply request a ride to Santa Lucia, 80132 Naples, Metropolitan City of Naples. The drive will take about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to mention you're going to the waterfront area to ensure the driver takes you to the correct location.
