  • Walking

    From the main entrance of the Herculaneum archaeological site, head towards the entrance plaza. Once you are at the plaza, turn left onto Via IV Novembre. Continue along this street until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right into Via Roma, and walk straight for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Look for the signs directing you to the Sacello degli Augustali. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Sacello degli Augustali on your right.

    If you are starting from the Ercolano Scavi train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Corso Resina. Turn left and continue walking down Corso Resina for approximately 500 meters. You will pass local shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with Via IV Novembre, turn right. Continue straight until you reach the entrance plaza of the archaeological site, then follow the previous directions from the entrance plaza to Sacello degli Augustali.
