If you are driving from the center of Avellino, take the SS7 highway towards Caposele. Continue on SS7 for approximately 30 km. As you approach Caposele, follow the signs for 'Sanctuario di San Gerardo' which will direct you to Via Santuario Materdomini. The sanctuary is located at Via Santuario Materdomini, 27, 83040 Caposele AV. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

From Avellino, you can take a bus to Caposele. Buses run regularly from the Avellino bus station to Caposele. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Caposele bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the sanctuary, which is about 2 km away. Walking will take approximately 25 minutes. If you choose to take a taxi, the fare should be around €10.
