Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Avellino, the main city in the Irpinia region. Take the SS7 bis in the direction of Cassano Irpino. Continue on SS7 bis for about 18 km until you reach the exit for SP164 towards Cassano Irpino. Merge onto SP164 and follow the signs for Sorgente Pollentina. The location is approximately 10 km down this road. Look for the sign for Sorgente Pollentina on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Avellino to Cassano Irpino. The bus service is provided by the local transport company, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cassano Irpino, you will need to take a local taxi to reach Sorgente Pollentina, as it's about 8 km from the bus stop. Taxis are generally available at the bus station, and the fare should be around €15-€20.
Walking from Cassano Irpino
If you prefer to walk from Cassano Irpino, you can follow SP164 on foot. It is approximately a 2-hour walk (8 km). Be cautious as there may not be sidewalks for the entire route. This route will take you past beautiful scenery of the Irpinia countryside.
