Car
If you're in Irpinia, the easiest way to reach Via ferrata Volturara is by car. Start by getting on the A16 motorway towards Napoli. Take the exit for Avellino Est and follow the signs for Volturara Irpina. After exiting the motorway, continue on SP1 and then follow the signs to Via Candragone. The Via ferrata is located at Via Candragone, 125, 83050 Volturara Irpina AV. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Avellino to Foggia. From Avellino train station, you can catch a bus to Volturara Irpina. The bus service may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Volturara, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Via Candragone, 125, where the Via ferrata is located. Make sure to have some cash on hand for bus and taxi fares.
