Car
If you're driving from La Thuile center, head southeast on Via Roma toward Strada Statale 26. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto Strada Statale 26 and continue straight for approximately 3 km. Look for signs indicating Lago Tachuy. You will need to park at the designated parking area (check for parking fees) and then follow the marked hiking trail to Lago Tachuy, which is about a 30-minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
From La Thuile, take the local bus service (check the current schedule) toward the nearby village of Entrèves. Disembark at the stop nearest Lago Tachuy. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km along a marked trail to reach the lake. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep in parts.
Hiking
If you are already in La Thuile and prefer a hiking route, you can start from the center of La Thuile. Follow the trail signs towards Lago Tachuy. The hike is about 4 km one way and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to bring a map or a GPS device, as the trails are well-marked but may not be obvious at times.
