    From the center of Madonna di Campiglio, walk towards the Santa Maria Antica church. Follow the signs for 'Giro di Campiglio' uphill. After a few hundred meters, turn right onto the path indicated for Lago Montagnoli. Continue uphill through the woods, eventually reaching a ski slope. Follow the slope uphill to reach Lago Montagnoli. The walk takes approximately 50 minutes with a 300-meter elevation gain. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    From Madonna di Campiglio, take the Trentino Trasporti bus towards Ragoli. Check the latest schedule online or at the bus station as times may vary. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Ragoli, you can walk or take a taxi to Lago Montagnoli trailhead, which is about 2 km away. Bus fare is approximately €2-€4. A taxi from Ragoli to the lake may cost around €15-€20.

  • Car

    From Madonna di Campiglio, head southeast on Via Campiglio toward Via Vallesinella. Continue for 7 km until the junction with SP87. Turn left onto SP87 and follow the road for approximately 5 km. Look for signs to Lago Montagnoli and continue on SP87 until you reach the parking area at the trailhead. Parking fee is approximately €5 per day.
