Discover more about Fish Paradise Park

Fish Paradise Park, or Parco Ittico Paradiso, is a 13-hectare natural oasis nestled in a woodland of approximately 9,000 plants in Villa Pompeiana. The park aims to protect a 130,000 square meter plain area. Its spring-water canals are home to around 20 species of freshwater fish, ranging from small goldfish to beautiful koi carp, large catfish, and sturgeon. The park's unique feature is its underwater observatories, which allow visitors to observe the fish in their natural habitat without disturbing them. The landscape is designed to mimic the river areas of Lombardy, with around 6,000 planted trees. Over time, the park has been naturally colonized by native plants and diverse fauna, including mallards, moorhens, coots, and herons. Originally designed for carp and trout farming, the park now serves as a space for relaxation, nature observation, cultural activities, and scientific research. Visitors can enjoy picnic areas and appreciate the carefully maintained environment. Dogs are allowed in the park if kept on a leash.
