Getting There

• Public Transport - Train

  From Milan, head to Milano Centrale railway station. You can take the Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) to Centrale FS. Once at Milano Centrale, purchase a ticket to Bergamo. Trains to Bergamo run frequently, usually every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Bergamo railway station, exit the station and turn left on Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII. Walk straight until you reach the bus stop, where you can catch Bus Line 1 or 5 to the city center. Get off at the stop for 'Sentierone'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to Sentierone, 1.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus directly from Milan, go to the Milan Lampugnano Bus Station. From the city center, you can take Metro Line 1 (Red Line) to Sesto 1 Maggio FS and transfer to Line 5 (Purple Line) to reach Lampugnano. At the bus station, purchase a ticket for the bus to Bergamo. The buses are comfortable and the ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Bergamo's bus station, follow the signs to the exit and head towards the city center. You can walk to Sentierone, which is about a 15-minute walk away.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bergamo and want to walk to Sentierone, start from the main square, Piazza Vecchia. From the square, head east on Via Colleoni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left and walk along Viale Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach the entrance of Sentierone. It’s a pleasant walk through the historic part of Bergamo, taking about 20 minutes.
