The Sforzesco Castle is easily accessible via Milan's efficient public transport system. The quickest way to reach the castle is by metro. Take the M1 (red line) to Cairoli Castello station, which is right in front of the castle, or the M2 (green line) to Lanza or Cadorna FN stations, a short walk away. Alternatively, several bus and tram lines stop near the castle, including bus lines 50, 58, 61, and 94, and tram lines 1, 2, 4, 12, 14, and 27. A single metro/bus/tram ticket costs €2.20 and is valid for 90 minutes after validation. A 24-hour pass costs €4.50, and a 48-hour pass costs €8.25.
