Getting There

• Train

  From Milan Central Station (Milano Centrale), purchase a ticket for Monza at the ticket counter or from a ticket machine. Board a train heading towards Monza, which typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Monza station, exit the station and turn left onto Viale Cesare Battisti. Walk straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Viale Brianza. Turn right onto Viale Brianza, and you will see the Villa Reale di Monza on your left.

• Metro and Bus

  From Milan, take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) from any central station (like Duomo or Cadorna) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. Transfer at Sesto 1 Maggio FS to the S5 or S6 train towards Monza. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Monza station. From the station, take bus number 204 or 208 towards 'Villa Reale' and get off at the stop named 'Villa Reale'. The villa will be directly across the street.

• Bus

  From Milan, head to the Lampugnano bus station. Take the bus operated by 'SIA' (Società Italiana Autoservizi) towards Monza. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Monza, get off at the stop closest to 'Villa Reale', which is usually marked. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the villa.
