    Train

    From Milan, head to Milano Centrale railway station. Purchase a ticket to Como at the ticket counter or automated machines. Board a train heading towards Como Lago. The journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at Como Lago station, exit the station and walk straight ahead until you reach P.za Alessandro Volta, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

    Bus

    From Milan, go to the Milan Central Bus Station (Stazione Autolinee di Milano). Look for the bus services to Como. Purchase a ticket from the ticket counter or bus driver. The bus ride takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Como, get off the bus and walk towards P.za Alessandro Volta, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
