Metro
If you are near the Duomo di Milano, take the M1 (Red Line) metro from Duomo station towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. After 3 stops, get off at Cairoli station. Exit the station and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see Sforzesco Castle ahead in Piazza Castello.
Tram
You can take Tram Line 1 from the central area (e.g., Via Torino) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. Get off at the 'Castello' stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to Sforzesco Castle, which is located in Piazza Castello.
Bus
Board Bus 50 at any central bus stop (like Via Cusani) towards S. Babila. Get off at the 'Castello' stop. After disembarking, walk towards the open square, and you will see Sforzesco Castle in Piazza Castello.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Sforzesco Castle. From the Duomo, head northwest along Via Torino, then turn right onto Via dei Mercanti, and continue straight until you reach Piazza Castello where the castle is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Milan. Head towards the city center and follow Via Dante which leads directly to Piazza Castello. There are bike lanes that will make your ride safe and enjoyable.
