    From the center of Mergozzo, head towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where the 400-year-old elm tree stands. From there, follow Via Borzoni and turn left onto Via Nostrani and Via Montorfano. Continue until you see the signposts for the Sentiero Azzurro, marked with blue dots. The trail begins its ascent from this point.

    From Domodossola FS International Railway Station, take the bus towards Verbania-Intra and get off in Mergozzo. From the bus stop, walk towards the lake and follow the signs to Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where the Sentiero Azzurro begins. Bus tickets cost approximately €2-€4.

    Exit the SS33 Sempione highway at Mergozzo and follow signs to the town center. Parking is available near the entrance of the village. From the parking area, walk to Piazza Vittorio Veneto to find the start of the Sentiero Azzurro trail. Parking fees range from €1-€2 per hour.
