Pienza Cathedral is located in the heart of Pienza, in Piazza Pio II, making it easily accessible on foot from anywhere within the town. From Corso Rossellino, the main street, simply follow signs for Piazza Pio II. The cathedral dominates the south side of the square, opposite Palazzo Borgia.

If arriving by bus, the nearest bus stop is 'Pienza N. Insediamento', a short 4-minute walk to the cathedral. From the bus stop, walk along Viale Cesare Battisti towards the town center, then turn left onto Corso Rossellino and follow it to Piazza Pio II. Bus line 112 connects Pienza with Siena and Montepulciano. A single bus ticket from Siena to Pienza costs approximately €4-€6.
