Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car from Mugello, take the SR65 road towards Florence. Continue on SR65 until you reach the junction with the A1 motorway. Merge onto the A1 towards Florence. After about 30 km, take the exit for Firenze Sud, and follow signs for the city center. Once you reach Florence, follow signs to the historic center and Piazza de' Pitti. There is limited parking available nearby, and expect to pay around €2-€3 per hour.

Train

For those using public transportation, you can take a train from Mugello to Florence. Board a regional train from Borgo San Lorenzo or another nearby station towards Florence. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, exit and walk to the nearby bus stop or take a taxi. If you choose to walk, it is about a 20-25 minute stroll to Piazza de' Pitti. Alternatively, you can take bus line 11 or 23 from the station to reach the destination.
