Discover more about Limonè

Limonè is more than just a distillery; it's a celebration of Neapolitan tradition, nestled in the heart of the ancient city near Piazza San Gaetano. This family-run establishment is dedicated to producing high-quality limoncello and a variety of other lemon-based products, using time-honored recipes and techniques. Founded in 1996, Limonè has become a beloved stop for visitors seeking an authentic taste of Naples. The distillery prides itself on using verdello lemons, a local green variety known for its digestive properties and intense aroma. These lemons are grown without chemicals in the Campi Flegrei area, and each one is hand-peeled to ensure the highest quality. Visitors to Limonè can witness the limoncello-making process firsthand and sample a range of products, including lemon pasta, lemon grappa, and lemon olive oil. The location also has a historical significance, as it incorporates a well from the 4th century BC, which was part of the Greek aqueduct, and a wall in opus reticulatum of the Temple of Dioscuri. This blend of culinary tradition and historical intrigue makes Limonè a unique and memorable destination.
