Train
If you are in Naples, head to Napoli Centrale train station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. You'll need to get off at the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri station, which is the closest to the archaeological site. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pompei Scavi, exit the station and you will see signs directing you to the Palestra Grande, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Head right onto Via Villa dei Misteri, then turn left onto Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach your destination at Via Roma, 44.

From Naples, you can take the EAV bus from the central bus terminal. Look for the bus numbered 503 or 507, which will take you directly to Pompei. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Pompei, get off at the stop closest to the archaeological site. From there, walk straight down Via Roma for about 5 minutes, and you will see Palestra Grande at Via Roma, 44 on your left.
