From the Salerno train station, the seafront is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Exit the station and head straight on Piazza Vittorio Veneto, then continue onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Roma, which leads directly to the seafront. No costs involved.

Several bus lines connect the Salerno train station to the seafront area. Look for buses heading towards the city center or the port. A single ticket costs around €1.30. Be aware that the Centro Storico of Salerno is a ZTL zone, restricting access to authorized vehicles only. Several car parks are outside the ZTL.
