    From Naples or Sorrento, take the Circumvesuviana train to the Pompeii Scavi – Villa dei Misteri station. From the station, walk to the Porta Marina entrance of Pompeii Archaeological Park. Enter the park and follow the signs to the Forum, where Via dell’Abbondanza begins. A single train ticket from Naples costs approximately €3. Alternatively, take the bus from Naples to the Via Plinio stop in Pompeii. From there, it is a short walk to the Porta Marina entrance. Bus tickets cost approximately €3.
