Walking
From the Orvieto Cathedral (Duomo di Orvieto), head down Via Duomo towards Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and walk until you reach the junction with Corso Cavour. Turn right onto Corso Cavour and continue walking. You will pass several shops and cafes along this street. Keep walking until you see the signs for Piazza del Popolo. The square will be on your right after a short walk.

If you are starting from the Orvieto Funicular Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma, which will lead you towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the Piazza della Repubblica. From there, follow the previous instructions by turning left onto Via Garibaldi and then right onto Corso Cavour until you reach Piazza del Popolo.

If you are near the Orvieto Underground (Pozzo della Cava), exit the site and head towards Piazza del Popolo. Walk along Via della Cava, which will take you to Via Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Garibaldi and walk straight until you reach the junction with Corso Cavour. Turn left onto Corso Cavour and continue until you see the entrance to Piazza del Popolo on your right.

Although most locations in Orvieto are walkable, if you are further out, you can take the local bus service towards the city center. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and disembark at the stop for Piazza della Repubblica. From there, follow the previously detailed walking directions to Piazza del Popolo.
