Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Orvieto Funicular railway station, located at Via Roma. From there, take the funicular up to the city center (the ride takes about 2 minutes). Once you exit the funicular, you will be at the top of the hill. Proceed to Piazza della Repubblica, where you will see the beautiful Duomo di Orvieto. From the Duomo, walk north along Corso Cavour until you reach the intersection with Via della Repubblica. Turn right onto Via della Repubblica and continue straight until you reach Piazza del Popolo. Here, you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the square. Next, head towards the south side of the square, where you'll find Via delle Conce. Walk down this street until it intersects with Via dei Priori. Turn left onto Via dei Priori and follow it until you reach Via della Storia. Continue straight, and this will lead you to the Rocca Monaldeschi della Cervara, located at Piazza Monaldeschi, 61, Bolsena VT.

• Bus

  From Orvieto, head to the local bus station located near the train station. Look for the bus heading to Bolsena (check the schedule for bus times). Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which typically takes about 30 minutes. After arriving in Bolsena, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards Piazza Monaldeschi, which is approximately a 10-minute walk straight ahead. As you approach the square, you will see the Rocca Monaldeschi della Cervara on your left.
