Walking
If you are starting from the Orvieto Cathedral (Duomo di Orvieto), exit the main entrance and face the cathedral. Walk straight down Via del Duomo until you reach the junction with Via di San Giovanni. Turn left onto Via di San Giovanni. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Cava. Turn right onto Via della Cava. Keep walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see Pozzo della Cava on your left at Via della Cava, 28.
Walking
If you are at the Funicular station (Funicolare di Orvieto), exit the station and walk straight down Via della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Piazza della Repubblica. From there, head towards Via del Duomo. After reaching Via del Duomo, turn right and continue until you reach Via di San Giovanni. Turn left and follow the road until you reach Via della Cava. Turn right onto Via della Cava and walk until you see Pozzo della Cava on your left.
Walking
If you are at the Orvieto train station (Stazione di Orvieto), exit the station and take the funicular (Funicolare di Orvieto) to the top of the hill. Once at the top, walk down Via della Libertà to reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, follow the directions from Piazza della Repubblica to Pozzo della Cava as previously described by heading to Via del Duomo and then onto Via di San Giovanni.
